MCPS has already been audited for crap like this and they continue to do what they want. The last audit showed many issues including the lack of documentation for losing contract bids and lack of daily inspections on school construction projects.

They do these audits all the time. Recently there was another anti-racist audit even. They just cost $$$ and have 0 impact but they can claim they did it.

Not some social justice audit. An actual financial audit.

That have been done. No one cares.

Now that we have a new State Superintendent, I’m hoping MCPS finally gets real consequences for their toxic behavior. Does the state have a process for submitting complaints?

This contract was a McKnight move. She's gone. Hopefully the incoming superintendent can ramp up to more sufficiently lead the school district.
