This can’t be a real thing with licensing can it? |
| Let's say you're a guy who can't get any women to have sex with him, especially if they do have sex she won't do it again, and he's frustrated and wants to learn what he's doing wrong but how does he learn that? Maybe hookers, I don't know, but I can see where there is a market for women therapists who will teach a naive inexperienced guy what to do to actually please a woman. I would think that if the word got out about such a woman she could make a whole bundle of money. |
I’m pretty sure such women already exist…. |
Sincere question - why? Sex is a skill, and so much of what we know is misinformation and also based on other peoples experiences. And of course it is wrapped up in emotions, patterns etc. Why wouldn’t someone knowledgeable about human sexuality be helpful to talk to to learn about yourself? |
Oh my goodness, you can’t imagine it! Then it must not be a real thing! Gosh I wish you could be available to solve all my dilemmas pp. |

They teach you how to do it. Believe me, some people don't know to to do it. You don't learn how to do it in school. Your parents don't teach you how to do it. You just figure it how yourself by doing it. Or you watch porn and it teaches you the wrong thing.
If you are a man and you have difficulties staying up, or you are a 2 second man, they can teach you some techniques to improve your performance. If you are a woman and can't enjoy it, they can help you figure out why and overcome it. |

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble:

Woot woot! |
A friend of mine has sex on mdma and she said real sex has never been the same since. She said she may have had 10 orgasms at least on it. |
I've been with women who had that many in a session with no drugs involved. |
| Sex therapists are typically working on intimacy issues. Meaning if one partner has sexual trauma or if another has been cheating and those events are blocking intimacy therefore sex. |
This. People are confusing a sex therapist with a sex surrogate. |
| I think can help with getting over hang ups like fear of initiating by breaking g it into small steps/ wins |
