That is not true. Girls on orange rarely develop enough to move up. You have to do a ton of work outside of the club programming to move up.

Not to mention there are a lot of politics involved in these decisions.

Does seem like friends of friends get preference.

There are several former orange girls (some starting) on the 29, 30 and 31 blc blue teams. Movement usually happens 4th through 6th grade.

Where do you live? If you are considering MCE then you are close to Next Level which is turning into MnD DC. Rebels is not to far away. Rebels 2033 has a good and well known coach.

We live in Bethesda. Has Rebels already had a tryout? We miss the NL tryout the other day, but I guess it’s worth reaching out about a supplemental.

Yes they have but always email if interested.

Don't be surprised when you see some NL or BLC girls go to Rebels at this age with who the 33 coach is.

Good to know. Thank you. We will reach out to some of these teams that have been mentioned and see what we come up with.

There are at least 4-5 girls on 34 Blue who came from 33 Orange, so there’s that.

Rebels is on par with MCE. Proceed at your own risk.

Why would they do that? Rebels were in the bottom of the league and BLC and NL were in the top.

Am familiar with the 33 Orange roster and am aware of who received offers for 34 Blue.

There are zero 2030 blue girls who used to be orange, every new add to blue is a friend of the family from a current blue player. I wouldn’t take a spot on the Orange team and think you had a chance to move up, at least it was impossible my dd’s year

It’s not that it’s impossible, it’s the the lack of coaching for orange teams. They don’t get the same coaching, number of games or quality of competition

But I believe the cost is the same. To make blue from orange it means additional money out of pocket for extra training to move up.

The 33 orange that are now 34 blue were moved as its the first year for the 34 blue team.Typically that first year B team is filled with younger girls as a developmental team. There also was only ONE movement for a 2034 blue that played with the 33 blue last year.

Strongly suggest contacting M&D Directors for supplemental tryout. They had strong turnout for. 30-34 years and and working hard to attract talent …

How do you think those girls got on an A team to start with. Extra work outside has to happen or you will forever be B level player which is fine for some. Either way run as fast and as far from MCE as possible any other club at this point is a better option.
