Are you using Nutrafol or another hair growth solution?

No. My hair needs no encouragement to grow.

You had to laser your BUTT?!!

I used Nutrafol Balance. Loved it, but needed to cut my budget. It’s just too pricey over time for me. Results were fantastic though. Since quitting a year ago , I’d say my hair is a bit less lustrous and it’s definitely somewhat dryer, but thinning hasn’t resume (knock on wood!). Growth in terms of length has not ever been an issue for me.

Oral minoxidil has worked very well for me. I wish I had started years earlier. I haven’t had hair growing excessively on my body. My eyebrows and eyelashes filled in nicely though.

I’ve been taking biotin for the last year. I do think my hair is thicker and I’m shedding somewhat less. It hasn’t been the perfect solution, but it’s cheap, and the gummies are yummy.

I use a compound of minoxidil, spironalactone, ketoconazale and tretinoin on my crown every morning. It has thickened but not grown. I also take oral spironalactone. My derm won't prescribe oral minoxodil.

I used Vegamor and filled in a blading spot on my head, but my hair overall is still thinner than I’d like it to be. I stopped taking it and am considering going back to the Minoxidil foam from Costco. I hate the foam delivery system, though. The Vegamore product that’s supposed to stop gray hair is a waste of money. It doesn’t work.

I tried OM for two weeks. By then my headache got so bad I had to stop taking it.

HairMax, Nourkin vitamins (similar to Viviscal but no iron), and the Ordinary’s serum. Rogaine works but gave me heart palpitations and made my hair look greasy.

Yes I use it. In about a month, the shedding in the shower was significantly less.

I just started oral minoxodil (about 3 weeks in) and still have a ton of shedding. Hoping to get past this phase soon. I told me hairdresser I started taking the pill and she said it would impact my hair color (blonde highlights) but I haven't seen any research or even anecdotal data to back this up. Does anyone have first-hand experience? It sounds like it makes your hair go really bright/blonde?

Oral minoxidil has helped a lot. You can take with spirolactone and get both prescribed online and delivered in mail. I take nutrafol but don't like the way it feels so take only 1-2 pills a day (not the 4 it says to take!)

Also, yes, my color had gone from bright blond to dingy in recent years. It brightened up some when I started taking iron, but with the minoxidil/nutrafol combination, its gone back to the color it was when I was a teen. (I'm in my 50's). It also made my boobs huge so now I look like a Trump woman, only just in sweatpants and an old t-shirt

My doc advised against oral minoxidil and another drug for hair bc of breast cancer concerns. Between mounjaro and menopause, I no longer have thick lustrous hair. I have been using topical for almost a year with no impact at all. I take lots of biotin, going to start nutraful.

I am looking at extensions.
