Are you using Nutrafol or another hair growth solution?

Curious for your success stories as I am looking to do something about my thinning hair (47 YO female). Thanks!

I'm using Rogaine (42yo female). It's been about 10 months and I'm really happy with the results. I buy the men's liquid solution in bulk from Costco and apply once per day.

Oral minoxidil pill works best for women. Very inexpensive. Very effective at preserving & regrowing hair. Results for 50 year old bald women were amazing.

I used Vegamor and my hair grew very fast BUT did not become more thick. So the thinning areas did not see any results. Annoyingly, I have 75% grey and color it.... so getting roots 1.5-2 weeks after coloring was a bummer "benefit" from using it. It was growing that fast.

Don’t waste your time. Listen to the PP who mentioned oral minoxidil. It works like a dream. I’ve been on it 2 years. I started losing my hair due to perimenopause and probably stress during the pandemic, my hair is now totally grown in.

I’ve heard that nutrafol plus oral minoxidil is the silver bullet. I started minoxidil but cannot afford $1000/year for nutrafol.

How long (weeks or months) did it take before you noticed results (new hair regrowth) ?

np here. I would want to hear from people who have been on -whatever- for years, ideally many years.

Saw palmetto and B12 are what make Nutrafol helpful. Just get those, no need to spens $1,000.

The weight gain is attributed to water & salt retention.

In a small percentage of cases can lead to irregular or rapid heartbeat & dizziness. If this occurs, discontinue use.

Topical Rosemary Essential Oil (5 drops massaged into scalp) works well.

Not OP. With oral minoxidil, I’m worried that hair will grow in other areas I don’t want it to. I spent so much money on lasering my body (eg back, inner thighs, butt) and don’t want to regrow here.

Can you take oral minoxidil with oral spironolactone?

I apply Rogaine foam at my hairline once daily.

Also swear by flaxseed and collagen powder in smoothies.

I’m thru menopause at 54 and have very nice, longer but fine hair. Had been thinning at hairline.
