I look at them a lot and often steal ideas off their itinerary. I think one of the biggest advantages is the built in friend group for the kids—they have a lot of activities that are things like a pasta making class for kids while the parents go for a fancy dinner that would be hard to recreate. I think it would be good for someplace where there’s a lot of schlep and you don’t want to have to worry about lots of different hotels and transfers (like their Switzerland trip, which looks great.). Especially if you don’t speak the language or if you’re too stressed out about driving around in a foreign country yourself or getting potentially ripped off by a local guide if you don’t know the area well. They do look fun and get great reviews. 5 seems to young to really take advantage of it though, as they might not want to do the kids activities without you there. I think 7-12 is more the target are.
