| Have you tried the frozen ones that need proofing at Trader Joe´s? They are pretty good and always "just baked". We also love their pain au chocolat. |
| Not upper NW, but if you ever find yourself downtown in the morning, Cafe du Parc has awesome croissants (and baguettes). Very authentic. |

| The croissants at Chinatown Coffee are pretty good. Not sure where they buy them from though. They are light and flaky and not at all doughy. And I second the Trader Joe's frozen bake your own ones. I think it is difficult to get really good croissants here because the wheat is different to French wheat. |
