I've had my car for 5 years. I've had 4 noticable dings. I did one of them (backed into a mailbox on a narrow street that my back up camera didn't pick up and cracked my tail light). DH did the other 3 (on my car, which he rarely drives. Sigh).

I typically get some kind of damage, usually small scratches, every time I go off-roading. I’ve dented my exhaust tips on rocks, too, as well as slightly bent my transfer case crossmember. I have never come back from a trip without something minor damage-wise.
