Make up for next season’s team?

It is typically more stable at the top teams, if they're adding players they typically will only add a couple. I think the Brave/Union merger and FCV collapse created a unique situation where there was an influx of talent and some clubs/teams highly benefitted and got stronger for their top team.

We already had a team snap set up for the new team so all the players have been added.

No, the changes are drastic every year. As coaches are always recruiting from outside.

Club dependent, at least, at DS's club there's been a ton of churn in the top teams and I know from posters here and elsewhere that typically it can be very static. This is u13-u15 boys ENCL.

Other kids team: U12 we have no idea who is A team or Who is on B team unless the kids and or parent talk. We each received an acceptance to play on A or B team, but no one knows the full roster. The club keeps it secret until August 1st.

Wow! I can't believe people go for that-accepting a mystery spot and mystery coach.

Yes, this allows this for the most room to adjust rosters and make shady deals before the start of the fall season. I mean, our Tech Director said some kids may develop more over the summer and now they are on the A team.

Same for my DD ECNL time, U15 now. Each year, there has been a good number of changes. I thought by the time she got to 11v11 at U13, the teams would stabilize. We see new girls at practice throughout the year. Players know they can't take it easy after making the ECNL team. Always someone looking to join the team and replace an existing player. You just bumped a girl off the team to get your spot? Look over your shoulder, there's a new face at practice looking for a spot on the roster.

Lol I wouldn't pay in full (or agree to paying full amount of we leave) with no definitive spot on a team. That's insane. Hope no one out down more than a deposit at this club

For my rising U15 player, the club added him to their team snap account as soon as we accepted. The entire team is coming back (except who was let go, eek), and they added 4 new players.

Both clubs only have one team per age.
