Flying to the beach, but normally we drive and bring tents and chairs. What travel beach items do you fly with?

If we fly to the beach, we either stay in hotels that provide these things or do a week long rental from a local chair/umbrella rental agency.

We bring dive bags, will throw a thin beach towel in. Trashy beach campouts with chairs, umbrellas, coolers and toys are declasse.

You people are crazy. Any vacation home and many hotels will have these things for your use. Or yes, go to the local store and buy if you have to.

My Uncle has several beach rentals at the Jersey shore. He always goes down on Labor Day to be there for trash day that coming week. Tons of perfectly good beach chairs, umbrellas etc left out not he curb. He have furnished all his rentals with cast off purchases.

Don't bring it with you, have it shipped on Amazon in time for your stay or rent locally. The former may actually be cheaper.

Have you ever actually flown anywhere? People don’t fly with tents, beach umbrellas, and chairs. The idea is absurd.

If you need to cart all that crap along, just drive to Ocean City and skip the flight.

Our vacation rental has chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach towels. Anything else that we need we rent.

Hello fellow coffee traveler! I have a travel pour over system that I use. Pack Yeti coffee mug, ground coffee, either collapsible or plastic coffee dripper, collapsible small kettle, and mini moos half and half and you have the best coffee and don't have to leave your room! Note: Be sure to have bottled water, unless you'll use from the sink.
