Everyone who is being nasty…

What was the perfume? (I’m totally curious and looking for new.)

Nope. Not in the mood.

+1. It’s not your clothes. It’s your personality. Stop posting spinoffs when you are getting consistent feedback.

I'm curious why you're coming back for more, then?

I mean, surely you understand that rehashing all the same things isn't going to help?

Why are you so desperate for attention that even negative attention is worth more to you than blessed silence and peace?

Pour yourself a nice bath, OP, watch a fun movie, read a book in bed. Tomorrow is another day. Maybe you'll be the toast of DCUM for a different topic!

Just killing time. I’m done now. Rachel Maddow my favorite lesbian is on.

I mean, I dress nicely all the time, and I have lots of friends. I've lived in many different countries (not counties).

So... It's not your clothes, my dear OP.

How many threads do you have to start? You are absolutely not helping your cause.

Keep whatever clothes you want to wear, but turn that focus outward instead. It's not all about you.

See, it's that kind of response that gets you negative points.

OP, sincerely, I get that you're hurt and I am sorry. But you sound dramatic and impossible to please.

You asked for help and people did try to give opinions. Maybe you didn't like them all. But again, read above.

Is it possible that people are responding to an attitude rather than chinos? Or maybe you're just new and they're small-town insular? My own mother used to always play this "they don't like me because I wear lipstick" stuff with neighbors and the truth is, they didn't mesh with her and she didn't mesh with them for a lot of reasons, including that she thought she was kind of better than they were and they were also kind of a closed circle and that was rude and intimidating.

What I am saying is some people are oriented towards victim/bully and you seem to be playing that out on DCUM.

I think the fact that OP started a thread in reference to her other thread thinking everyone would know what it was is evidence of a me me me victimhood mentality. OP, that is rough. See a therapist to try to improve your outlook and I bet your relationships will thrive.

You're not in your right mind now. I hope things get better for you.

Ya’ll should lay off. She’s not making friends in her new town and seems a bit frazzled.

She’s done a bang up job making friends here.
