| I always calculate 2.5 slices per person (and I always have leftovers, which I'm fine with). |

What else is goin on at the party? I still remember a swim party where kids almost came to blows fighting over extra pieces (they all had 2 pieces already) I would go higher if it is a party with lots of activity.
Parents are hard to plan for - you have folks who act like they never eat and others that appreciate getting a bite. Sometimes it’s best just to let the kids eat and then offer what’s left to adults. |
Not a chain... Though my family does like Papa Johns (shh). |
Dominos, Pizza Hut, Costco - all chain pizza places are total crap. A better option is a local pizzeria. If you don't see guys in white t-shirts throwing dough in the air, don't buy your pizza there. |
2 slices per person leaves no one hungry. Who eats more than that for lunch anyway? |
| In theory, if you notice that the pizza is dwindling then you can easily order more quickly. |
| 75% cheese pizza or more. Always topping pizza left over. |
That's a kid problem not a pizza problem. |
A 9 yr old party will be over before more pizza arrives. It's not Super Bowl |
| Are you also serving kid friendly fruit and vegetables and chips? |
On what math planet would 6 pizzas with 8 slices each give 34 people 2 slices each? |
DCUM is weird when it comes to pizza for parties. You're either in the make sure you have enough for leftovers camp or the who eats more than one piece, you're a pig camp. There are online calculators for this. This one says 11 large pizzas. https://www.inchcalculator.com/pizza-calculator/ |
