8-9 year old kids.
In all, 17 kids and accompanied by 17 adults. Assuming Domino's 14 inches large pizza has 8 slices, how many pizzas to order? Going to generously offer pizza to adults. The party is at lunch time. Thank you! |
| Dominos is pretty cheap and I bet they’ll give you a deal so I’d rather over-order, especially at lunch time. I’d do 14 large pizzas. That’’s 3+ slices for everyone. |
|
I would do 8. I doubt all adults will eat.
Pro tip: Ask them to double cut the pizza. Easier for kids to handle and less likely to leave half-eaten slices. |
| 2-3 slices per person |
Do not do this. I’d get 6. You’ll have two leftover. |
Personally, I would be so ashamed to host 34 people at a birthday party and only have 6 pizzas. But I never want anyone to go hungry or feel like they shouldn’t eat because of limited food. Pizza is so cheap and easy to fridge or freeze leftovers. |
Yes fur small kids not furc8-9: year olds. They know how to eat pizza. |
| I would guess 2 per person. Most parents will not chow on Domino's pizza. 8 pies... mostly cheese. |
| At least 10 large. Probably no more than 13. |
| I’d do 14. 3 pieces per person would be 13 pizzas, but I would be (irrationally) superstitious about that. |
| 15 |

People here are absolutely bizarre about pizza. Firstly, I never eat at a kid's birthday party because the food is always sh*t. Ex.: Domino's. Secondly, I do not want to encourage the obesity epidemic in this country. No more than two each max for the kids.
Is this a family party? If not, why are you assuming parents will stay when the kids are 8 and 9 years old? By that age it should be drop off. |
Same. My instinct was to say 2 slices per person, but that's NY style where a large is 18 inches. 14 inches isn't really a true large, so I'd bump up to 3 minimum PP. |
| OP here. Thank you! I will go with 11 large. I have plenty of sides too. Most adults are our friends and will stay to hang out. |
Why is Domino's considered sh%t? What is considered a better option? |
