Potato salad, coleslaw, macaroni salad

Probably macaroni. But I love coleslaw too.

I have a little of each.

Potato salad and I actually like it. But I agree with others it needs some sort of acid or tang with it. I like the kind that is either lemon/herby, mustard-y, or vinegar-y with only light mayo. Homemade is better. Must be served in a proper container kept cool with ice.

If it was with a burger- I'd go coleslaw to put on top.

Otherwise, I'd go macaroni.

I would absolutely vomit with rage at the thought of eating anything with mayonnaise on it, and then punch the host in the face and never deign to speak to them again.

Just kidding, I’m a normal person. I’d have some coleslaw and maybe some macaroni salad depending on how it looked.

Potato salad first (unless there are big chunks of celery in it), then coleslaw (preferably on pork bbq), then macaroni salad.

Potato salad as a side, coleslaw if there's something to put it on, like pulled pork or a chilli dog. Macaroni salad never

Huh, surprised by the potato salad over the other two. For me the potato hunks are usually too large. Am a fan of German Potato Salad but once again want smaller pieces.

Coleslaw is usually the safest bet so would probably go with that first. Macaroni if it looked particularly good, not too soupy & not too much celery.

Cole slaw if forced to eat one. Dislike mayo in general.

I do like German potato salad but never remember to make it. Thanks for the reminder.

A lil of each. Potato salad being tops. Sure homemade is better….but I did not have to make it and it all tastes excellent with this bbq and baked beans.

It isn't clear to me whether you are saying this can't be homemade?

I LOVE a homemade potato salad and would voluntarily choose it every time. Those typically have a little less mayo than store-bought and other good stuff in it.
I also love a good coleslaw.

Would never touch macaroni salad, but mostly because they are often disconcertingly sweet. I find that gross.

Assuming for the hypothetical that it's kept at a safe temp and I can only eat one, macaroni salad. I like coleslaw and potato salad too, though, both homemade and storebought versions. Which is probably why I am trying to lose 10lbs.

Potato > pasta > coleslaw

What's with the mayo hate? It's eggs and oil? So weird.
