I think EC families aren’t attuned to the debacle of the lack of guaranteed middle school spot at DCI. I know of one family who said they don’t care about YY in the least but are excited about middle/high school prospects. I imagine there are many (misinformed) more. With a *second campus* across the street, this will only hurt them more without future feeder guarantee. Why else would you be interested in your four year old native English speaking white kid learning vocab words in Chinese. What a waste of time and a weird time to be alive. |

Long term (by no later than Jan 2025)
- PK-K will be in the new building -Grades 1-5 in the main building Short term - Alt space on main campus or at Catholic (for the 4th and 5th grades) will provide support for a brief period. PK-3 on main campus. Will far less dramatic than DCUM plans for. Btw, no PreK student will need to worry about getting into DCI. Seven years is a long time. |
