What happened to frozen yogurt?

I feel like there could be a way for it to make a comeback, using greek yogurt and emphasizing the high protein, probiotic aspects.

Isn't that Yasso bars?

Typo.

And people stopped eating fro-yo. I doubt it. Everyone is still obese.

I hear you, OP. I do love Yasso bars, but not the same thing as a bowl of froyo.

I agree with the poster who said a grocery store can only fit so many varieties on the shelves, but I wish they’d slim down the non dairy frozen offerings (do we really need coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk AND soy milk frozen dairy choices) and put frozen yogurt in place of just one of those.

With all the different kinds of allergies out there these days, yes, you do need all of them.

KEMPs still exists? I saw the thread title and instantly pictured their light green round containers. It was so so good.
Yogurt in general was better in the 80s.

Still good. They have a moose tracks and brownie cookie dough that is really good.

Haha, I was thinking the same! Not sure if dc went through this, but ny went through a frozen yogurt craze - tasti dlite, pink berry, red mango. And then the craze died down.

But we’re happy because we’re eating real ice cream

I think that Seinfeld episode back in the 90’s started the downward spiral

I like it bc it’s tasty not bc it’s healthy. Not OP btw.

Also, I still see some brands in the store. But the brand names are all different from what they used to be. Mayfield, Noosa and Yasso seem to be some of the ones out there.

I love Sweet Frog.

But only because I get to heap toppings on. The actual frozen yogurt is a bit of an afterthought, and I'd prefer soft serve.
