Is there a school like Yale (size, liberal arts, residential, east coast) but with 25% admission rate?

Villanova or Lehigh

Check out Fairfield University, for right size, much easier admissions, in a lovely town very near Yale.

If you are OK with an easier acceptance, I was really impressed with TCNJ.

You can be south of north. And west of east. But not south of east...

Believe me—no one who says “I went to school on the East Coast” when they really mean Virginia
yep, anytime you cross that great Virginia line under the enormous confederate flag You know you are not on the East Coast anymore Toto.

Not really. Most schools with a strong liberal arts focus are smaller. Except Tufts but admission rate is way below 25%.

Other than being a couple hours from the actual coast, Bucknell fits what you're looking for to a tee. And the pipeline to The Street is just as strong as it is from Yale.

Oh, do you mind elaborating on this, such as what you found impressive? Thank you, we're interested as well!

+1 bucknell

Also Lehigh & Case

Location and selectivity might not match, but consider: Vanderbilt?

Huh? Virginia is East Coast. Literally has a coastline on the Ocean.

Yeah I get it but at what point does “East coast” turn into “the south?”
Some would argue Virginia hits that mark.
And at that point it’s not really about whether the state touches the ocean.

Wtf. No. The East Coast includes the SE, the mid Atlantic, the ME, New England etc.
