Headache for a week - and not prone to them

Just to note, I’ve also had a low grade headache the past 48 hours. I’m blaming it on the weather/a weird virus

I've had a mild headache on and off for like a week now. But everyone in my household has the same thing, so I'm also blaming it on some mild virus symptoms or allergies/weather.

I get rebound headaches from Tylenol and advil. You could try cutting them out for 5 days and see what happens.

This. It is likely something minor but given what you described it could be very serious. Please go in today.

Interesting. Can taking 2 Tylenol every 12 hours cause rebound headaches? I only took Advil once (but I have not taken any pain meds sooner than 12 hours apart).

Yes, but the headache started a few days after the cold symptoms let up. I have a kindergartner so my ENT thinks it was exacerbated by having had many many colds over the past few years from all the germs he brings home. My sinus CT scan before surgery showed a lot of sinus issues as well.

Also consider whether you have tension in your neck, which can trigger a tension headache or migraine. When I get a headache from that, I generally need to work on my neck to fully get rid of my headache which can be a dull ache for a two or three days.

im sick all the time, feel bad....wake up with "new" crap almost every day. I'm 58....things are going to deteriorate. Not rushing to the quacks and getting on the f8s88in carousel.
