Anne with an E
Jessie Bunked I often find old series or shows from my childhood for my kids to watch also…since I still mostly remember the general content (and sometimes I enjoy watching with them for nostalgia’s sake) lol Wonder Years Little House on the Prairie Full House Home Improvement Dr Quinn Medicine Woman Rescue 911 |
| My kid is younger (about to turn 8) but I think the shows he watches would likely be good for a 9 year old too. We love the family-friendly competition shows - Is It Cake, Lego Masters, Masterchef Junior, Nailed It. For series, the Looney Tunes (on Max) and Animaniacs (on Hulu) reboots are really funny, my kid loved them and I had a good laugh too. Same with Sonic Boom on Netflix. |
Oh sorry and one more - Bill Nye! You can get old episodes on YouTube for free if you search for Bill Nye Season [insert number] Episode [insert number]. We sometimes have a good laugh about how dated everyone looks (and it's sparked a lot of good convos about what life in the 90s was like!) but 99% of the science info is still relevant! |

My son loved:
Gravity Falls Amphibia We Bare Bears Big City Greens The first two listed have great story arcs and are very funny. The 2nd two are just funny. |

My (admittedly “young for his age” AKA immature) nine-year-old watches:
Floor Is Lava (all seasons, several times) Is It Cake (ditto) Various Lego series on Netflix Odd Squad Great Pottery Throw Down Pokémon Every now and then he goes back to Dino Dan and its spin-offs. |
Ok but now , fast forward 40 years. |
