Who is eating a salt bagel?!

So funny. I had exactly the same reaction when trying one--who likes these?! I love salt but a salt bagel was waaaay too much for me. It reminded me of swallowing salt water. Just thinking about it, heck no.

Um, no. Not if you have functioning kidneys. Your body should have zero issue balancing your sodium intake if you are a person of normal health

Never had one but my mouth is watering now after reading this! PMS I guess!

I like salt bagels and everything bagels. I just toast them and put a very thin layer of butter on. I eat half with my eggs some mornings for breakfast.

I also love salt bagels- and extra salty pretzels, too!

Haven't had one in years, but give me salty things over sweet any day!

They can scrape up the roof of your mouth, though....

I've never had one but I'm pregnant and it sounds really good with cream cheese

In college a friend offered me $10 to alternate bites of a salt bagel with swigs of orange juice until both were gone. I did it.

They are the best!!! So few places make them, which is always disappointing.
But I use to just eat salt as a kid, so I know I’m weird.

Too much salt is a big deal.

Now consider that many Americans living with heart disease don’t know they have it + heart disease is the #1 cause of death in America = stay away from salt bagels and whatever you put on them.

If you do not already have heart disease or high blood pressure, and you drink adequate amounts of water - salt is benign and your body can balance it
