Thanks. I hate to say this, but my inclination is to go to Sibley, the "best" hospital in DC and work it out from there. Sadly all hospitals are not equal and I would want my loved one (having BTDT but not in DC) to be in a setting where there would be optimal visitation if DC wanted us there and where we would be able to figure out the next move.


Why would you think that Sibley offers greater visitation opportunities than other hospitals? I actually have t found that any have easy visitation policies.

Are you sure it was this thread? There are a number of threads going on where mental health inpatient treatment is being discussed right now.

In VA, Fairfax Inova is better than Dominion. But they may still transfer to another Inova location depending on beds available and care level needed.
