I hate to say this, but my inclination is to go to Sibley, the "best" hospital in DC and work it out from there. Sadly all hospitals are not equal and I would want my loved one (having BTDT but not in DC) to be in a setting where there would be optimal visitation if DC wanted us there and where we would be able to figure out the next move.
