I can answer for 2009. Over half of the white team is coming back. The ones that aren’t are either leaving for high school sports/activities, moving out of the area, there’s a current 2010 on the team who is going to go play with their age group, another is getting moved up to the green team. I don’t know of anyone who’s leaving for a different club. The 2009 and 2008 White teams practice together with the same coach.

McLean RL teams are typically friendly and perfect for kids trying to just live a typical HS life balancing all activities. The demands are reasonable and there's very little drama

The 2009 age group as a whole is talented and very nice. I have heard almost all of green is staying the same and only a few girls are leaving white.

For 2008 White, I think many (but not all) are coming back but not positive. One girl was moved to Green. They are combining the 2008 White team with the 2006/2007 White team and will play U19 - currently 15 on the 2008 roster. The current coach will coach the combined team.

As for team dynamics, it is a nice group of girls and parents. Because it is the White team, there is a lot less pressure, and the coach is very understanding of the demands of high school sports.

They are only playing up one year. There is no U18 (to accommodate the players who technically are 2006/U19 but still in high school). And most of these girls are playing in HS so they are used to playing with girls who are older.
