All this ginned up "controversy" shows is that a) conservatives will believe *anything* they're told by the likes of Rush/Beck/Fox; b) politicians on the center & left need to get better at creating these ginned up controversies and injecting them into the public discourse; and c) the mainstream media still takes it's editorial direction from the Right-Wing Noise Machine (aka "The Mighty Wurlitzer").

This isn't a race issue; it is an issue of extravagance on the part of the first lady, whatever race she may be, when far too many Americans can't even feed their familites, are homeless, and everyone of these are without decent medical, dental, hearing, and vision care. She and husband should pay for the cost of US Air Fore jets when used for personal junkets.
