College Protests — how does this all end?

I think the political conventions will involve huge protests. They may continue up to January 2025. hope not.

Some may follow Columbia and go remote or hybrid for a time.

Not sure, but seems like this could go on for a while. https://x.com/TPostMillennial/status/1783164153625997610

Something bad is going to happen. The escalation is crazy.

I am completely against property damage, spray painting windows and throwing chairs at policemen. Frankly, the footage I saw at NYU last night was reminiscent of the US Capitol storming.

the US has to do something about Gaza.

I think there's hope - if for no other reason than
Biden can't afford to lose the tiny fraction of 19 yos who actually vote.

No it looks like the BLM riots of 2020

I don't think anyone's started stealing TVs from Target yet, but correct me if I'm wrong.

That's next. Because the poor Palestinians want coddled Americans to have more stolen stuff on their behalf.

I mean, I'm not usually one to speak in hyperbole. But seeing people on the various threads on dcum calling for the national guard to put down the protests . . . . it's not entirely unlikely it could have a similar tragic ending.

They will eventually grow bored of it.

It will be so much worse than Kent State. Dozens of students will be suspended and told they have to depart campus housing weeks earlier than expected. The line outside of the Assistant Vice Dean for Student Conduct’s office will flow like a mighty river breaching it’s banks.

Obviously they have too much time on their hands. They should be at work

This is just the beginning of a major change in US foreign policy. The protests are just beginning and start with college students as they always do.

This. And stricter rules are necessary. One bad apple ruins the bunch.

So she went from protesting at Columbia to protesting at NYU but has no real idea why? Are groups directing this via social media as happened in 2020? If so, who?
