I got my first Miele when I was 26 and it just broke last year when I was 48. It only broke because I dropped an IKEA book case on it. Nothing mechanical.
Best purchase ever. |
| I bought one a few years ago for about $800 so prob similar - was shocked at how well it cleaned compared to my old one. It is a great cleaning investment imho. |
Yes even less and i agree LOL |
| Bought a Miele in 2010 for $650. I love it. Worth the money. |
DP. Hate Dysons. Love the Miele |
You idiots are a commissioned salesperson's dream. A $200 vacuum can last just as long if you care for it properly. |
| Yeah i dont think there are any commissioned salespeople selling miele vaccuums |
| Also, you can buy a Miele for $350. While $1500 may be possible, it is not typically the price. |
Take it from a professional - my first job was at Molly Maid, cleaning homes for very rich people on Cape Cod. The very first expensive purchase I made when I finally had any cash to splash was a Miele vacuum. Mine was ~$700 in 2013 when I bought it. It’s never had any issues and cleans better than any other vacuum I’ve ever used except my sister’s Miele, which was a more expensive version than mine and which she’s used continuously in her housecleaning business for two decades now. Yes some $200 vacuums will last that long if you really baby them, but they will never clean as well as a Miele. I don’t go for luxury brands in general but when it comes to vacuums, nobody builds them better than Miele. |

We got the 1K one a while back because at the time it was the only filter vacuum that we felt confident about in a house with lead paint.
It's awkward and clumsy and 99% of the time I use a Dyson but almost 10 years later it's still going strong! |
| I love my Kirby. Lucked out and got it used. Workhorse |
Me too! My Miele that we bought about 15 years ago or so is still going strong! |
| I love our Miele but you can get them for like $400. I didn’t even know they went that high. |
| I spent like 1100 on a Sebo this year |
