Why do people connect you with other people without asking first?

Of course not, but I don't get junk mail from friends/colleagues/former colleagues. Do you just ignore people you know?

it kind of is an obligation if you know the person and dont want to outright ignore them. I mean you can but it's rude and puts you in a position.

I work in tech specifically entertainment tech.And I get tons of junk mail from past colleagues and acquaintances in the industry. Ooops, it must have gone to spam Is practically my mantra
