Moms who smoke weed

No, this is not normal, and it seriously impairs people. Especially driving.

Same.

Is this normal for moms to try to get high together??

These are moms I met through my kids but our kids are not friends.

I’d like to know which school/county so I can avoid it. I don’t want people who constantly get high driving or around my kids, or me!

Sad for you that you and your friends have to use drugs and get high to enjoy your clearly miserable lives.

Pathetic.

You really have no idea why people consume cannabis. Being judgmental is also wasting your time so why not focus on that rather than other people you can’t control?

I don't focus on it. I most likely correctly assumed that these people are doing it recreationally, which is fine. They can delude themselves all they want if they have children, but getting high with them in the house is just selfish and immature. You never know when there might be an emergency.

Sincere question- do you feel the same way about wine and beer?

NP. Sincere answer- yes.

I’m sure you do. You might know me, and the half a dozen other 50-something other friends of mine who have all used gummies to manage the perimenopausal insomnia. I now take half a 5mg THC/CBN gummy at bedtime. That means I can’t drive if there is a middle of the night emergency, true. But it also means I am getting enough sleep to not want to kill myself, so it seems like a fair trade off.

Edibles are pretty common in my social circle. I don't partake usually, but doesn't seem any different than alcohol to me. As long as the kids are in bed and nobody's driving home, what's the harm?

I smoke sometimes and I have never ever met another parent who does. I definitely do not talk about it because I don't want to be ostracized for it (as evidenced on this thread). I also don't want to be around a group of people when I'm high because I look funny and I talk weird and get in my head. 1-2 moms I could hang out with....

I don't know. Probably little unless something happens where the kids need a parent who's not high.

I know many more edible users than smokers but there are so many more than you think. In men, I know more smokers.

There are certain people that will never know who uses thc because, they are clearly not the kind of people you would want to share that information with. I am sure this is amplified in other communities and less in others but it's not readily available here and this is a UC community. I only know a couple of 100% sober people and most others drink socially. The completely sober people are obviously not privy to this information.

It's pretty common these days, but if you dont want to smoke you can still hang out with them.

I'd say about half the moms I know in Arlington do gummies at the very least. The majority of moms are big drinkers. And very few alcohol/drugs free.

I doubt that. You just don’t know that they use cannabis. I guarantee you my kids’ friends’ parents have no clue that I take edibles or smoke weed as i never do it around anyone except my husband, after kids are in bed and we aren’t going anywhere outside the house. I only take 1/4-1/2 of a gummie. I’m never getting trashed.

I have kids in high school and frequently use THC- I live where it’s legal recreationally.

Personally i hate alcohol and am glad to see the alcohol sober thing on the huge uptrend.
