I have an odd aversion to lotions and oils, but now I need one. Help.

I like almond oil after a shower or coconut oil other times. I don't like chemical smells so these work for me and absorb quickly. Not sure if lite "food" smells would be a problem for OP.

I like almond oil smell too. I use L'Occitane. I have an aversion to most lotions, gels and oils. I like Eucerin because it works well and has no odor. I also use their anti-redness cream though I don't like putting my fingers in the jar!

Offer the brands?

NP but my favorites are IN SHOWER lotions: Nivea (apply, rinse in shower) or Jergens (apply in shower after rinse) both have coconut formulation with light scent that I barely notice.

I have very dry skin so YMMV. In winter, I sometimes still apply more lotion like Cetaphil or Aveeno.

I buy both in bulk and my favorite is Nivea.

Pp. Thanks. The idea of applying lotion on wet skin in the shower and then rinsing off some is new for me. I'm intrigued.

OP here. These are great ideas. Thanks.

If you have a Costco membership I’m pretty sure you can buy vanicream in their pharmacy. They also have Cerave cream.

PP Nivea and now I’m so used to this shower routine that applying lotion after the shower now seems like another laborious task on my beauty routine- I had forgotten about the sticky goopy feeling of body lotion and then getting dressed.

Pro tip: Nivea harder to find now. Almost always at Target and Walmart - not so a CVS/Walgreens. I buy via Amazon.

Please be careful in your shower this stuff is slippery.

Jergens seems slightly more available but doesn’t seem as moisturizing. Again, I have very dry skin.

For what it’s worth, real almond oil has no scent. L’occitaine almond oil does have a scent. (I don’t have an issue with scent and love l’occitane but OP might have an issue). Real coconut oil has a scent but it’s not added and lighter than most commercial lotion.
