I'm getting paid $180k/yr to do nothing

I’m a teacher. Need to find one of these easy lazy jobs. I am exhausted from managing middle schoolers all day

Same! But I am at $100k

I was about to to say the same, as a HS teacher. I honestly think I would be ok with one of these jobs. Read, play some games, manage my household tasks, once in a while do some paperwork, and then go home to my family with enough headspace to be fully present. And get paid well.

I'd rather live under a 270 overpass

Same. I'm at 150k though. I just accepted a new job because I'm so bored.

I'll be back in 4 months complaining that I actually have to work at work.

I'm an idiot with an CMU engineering degree and have never made that much. So jealous

I am so jealous. I make $150k but it’s a huge grind. I am also a “middle manager” - I suppose - and wish I could sit back and watch people work around me. Federal project management on a complex contract is literally the worst.

This sounds great unless you have to go to the office 5 days a week.

Same here, $170K and my job probably takes 10-15 hrs per week except for occasional projects that push it higher. I manage two people who are very good at their jobs, which makes my life easy although a little boring.

I make $214 K, fully from home, and whole days go by where I can essentially check emails (total of 15 minutes), then attend to hobbies and household chores. The difference is that when I do focus on work projects, I can complete them essentially on my own schedule and the work itself is incredibly rewarding and interesting. Like I’d be up for doing it even if I wasn’t getting paid. Guess I found my dream job. Yes, it’s Fed. No other details will be provided. 😁

I'd gladly teach middle school for $100K+, as someone who has made more in the past. Better than doing nothing.

What are these jobs and are they hiring? Seriously, I have been looking for work for the last year and striking out. I would love one of these jobs.

I have those days. 200k plus bonus. All in person tho. And then there are super stressful days where i have to make bigger and stressful decisions. Its all risk acceptance.

Reading all these salaries makes me so sad. I’m jealous.

I have this but I am a Director with my own department. I invent little projects at times to keep it interesting.
