Anyone else not receive a single financial aid package yet?

Pretty sure one school emailed today to say they expect the FIXED FAFSA to arrive to them in 2 weeks. That is a week before May 1.

There is no possible way that schools can hold to the May 1 deadline at this rate. That is just insanity.

My de is in shock that we probably don’t qualify for anything. Is it mainly based on parents income? Anyone know what the thresholds arw?

We got one from University of Florida ( just in the portal).

It considers a lot of things but the biggest factor is parents' current income

Home equity is factored into the equation. Check your zillow zestimate.

Also, siblings no longer count, so if you have 2-3 kids in college, you are screwed.

The new FAFSA is designed to punish families for having more than one kid.
