Anyone else not receive a single financial aid package yet?

Seriously, I'm getting worried. Some colleges still have a May 1 deadline!

Me! And my child is eligible for some Pell grant so we really need them to compare. This is a mess.

Shoot, our FAFSA form still is screwed up somehow (almost positive it WAS correct with no issues a month ago) and won’t let us fix it. This is a disaster.

We received our first package from W&M. Still waiting on all others.

I'm still waiting onto on W&M! Did you get an email, or was it just in the portal?

My daughter got an email with instructions about going into the portal.

We are not expecting financial aid. However, we did file the FAFSA because some schools kept pushing for it. We haven't gotten a package yet from any school.

Some of our schools only announce merit in the financial aid package, so we're really in the dark.

I think it's too early to expect anything. If they got the FAFSA March 15, it's been less than a month.

Just one from W&M

Nothing yet, but we're not getting any aid anyway.

Ours are trickling in.

If your child has a couple of favorites, I would recommend calling the financial aid office or scheduling a Zoom call. We had a specific question with one of my DC's faves, and they got right on the phone.

Yes, but I checked my kid’s FAFSA with him and our SAI is 70k, so I’m not expecting to hear anything.

If you haven’t seen your official SAI yet, just sit tight. They are getting through them slowly, slowly.

We haven’t received any. Luckily the schools have all moved acceptance dates to at least mid-May

a couple schools my daughter applied to (NOT top schools) offer a little bit of money just for filing a FAFSA. I pretty much expect nothing in need based aid, but filed the dumb form just to get the $1K or whatever off the tuition bill.

So, so frustrating that we are the guinea pig year for this new form that has just been a nightmare from the word go.
