I splurged on lululemon rum free leggings and love them. (I had posted here about having problems with my leggings slipping down as I run—these stay in place).

I ran for 30 years. All of my running tights came from Marshall's and TJ Maxx. I just wanted soft with pockets. I NEVER spent more than $30 on tights.

Agree with the Lululemon fast and free rec—they are really good. Love the high waist, side pockets are deep, and they’re lightweight. Fit is firm, no drooping, but they aren’t crazy tight/compressive.
