BS. No one has shifts like that.

I agree with the Uber-picnic poster.
Spouse is cheating.

Perhaps it is a different paid “line of work,” like sex worker.

Something is off here. So she's claiming they're illegally under payer her as well.

Most shift workers (medical, warehouse, etc.) aren’t allowed to work that many hours with only a two hour break in the break room. Too dangerous/too much liability.

Totally doing the wild thing with some coworker.

Buy her a car or drop her off and pick her up.

How do you know what they paid her and why would they only pay her half?

I work the overnight and something is definitely off with her schedule. She doesn't seem to have enough hours off in between shifts and they don't seem to be paying her appropriately. Unfortunately there are employers who take advantage of their employees, especially ones who work "unskilled" jobs, so I don't want to say she's absolutely cheating on you vs she's being taken advantage of by her boss.

I would guess the night portion is being spent with someone else and then she is working the day shift.

No company has workers working 24 hour shifts with only a 1-2 hour break. Unless it is some underground sweat shop.

The average firefighter works 24 hour shifts with no guaranteed breaks. Just sayin’.
