Who is appealing?

DC hasn't had a reading group all year. DC says while others are having reading groups they have to read independently from the class library- which DC says they've read several times over by now- but even then, there's been absolutely no answering questions for comprehension all year. DC did do that sort of stuff last year in another district, so I don't feel my expectations are wildly off. Is that something that could be mentioned or is it too complain-y?

To add, DC is reading 4th-5th grade level books at home. It just seems like a clear example of needs not being met in the classroom.

You should not complain and show that your child can comprehend through work samples and your letter

Ther appeal lets you speak on all the at home abilities that is relevant to what they are looking for and for you to explain why they need to be placed. What will be missing if they are not placed
