Muttabbal: grilled eggplants (flesh only after placing in colander) mixed with tahini, minced garlic, lemon and salt/pepper. You can also top this with ground beef/lamb skewers.

Tabbouleh—a classic.

Muhammarah—(roast red pepper dip, look up Omayah cooks recipe).

I make all slaws including broccoli slaw vinegar based, no mayo.
