He makes me laugh, and he’s brilliant. He’s good in bed, which was important to me. We like a lot of the same books and have similar views on things. He’s exciting and likes extremes. He likes to keep little secrets/inside jokes, which made me feel like we were part of a special club. The kids (we have 5) are part of the club too.

I feel pretty neutral about most men, looks wise. Over the course of my life, I can think of only 4-5 men that I have had a strong physical attraction to just by looking at them. DH isn’t one of those.

That’s not the secret. DH and I have all that and my attraction to him after all these years is next to nil. He’s my BFF and my roomie.
