Nice. Which club is this? |
| Alexandria is practicing. |
| Arlington ECNL girls is off |
| Union is practicing - all the kids have different spring breaks—some last week, some next week so it’s pooled practice if not enough kids. |
| LMVSC Left it up to the individual coaches. Most seem to not offer any practice. |
| Syc as per usual each coach is doing their own thing. Some will have practices some won’t. |
|
Some kids are off for spring break this week; other kids are off next week.
Alexandria is still holding practices, although they are combining different teams due to an expected lower-than-usual turnout. |
| Spring break practices should be club led and not put on coaches on whether they want to run them or not. Numbers are low for all teams so club should take initiative. A week off won't hurt anyone if they have been training consistently all year. High school age groups need them if most are playing for school. Kids can and should train on their own. I don't blame my DCs coach for giving the week off. Only 4 are in town for our U15 team. |
|
If the numbers are low, the club should offer a combined session for those kids who are not going away for Spring Break or for those who's Spring Break is at a different week.
|
| Who cares? Take a break and enjoy life. |
Your brain prob can't comprehend the idea that not EVERYONE has spring break at the same time.
|
| The team is we are not, family time is more important than skipping a week together for 4 hours of practice |
| Every single day. Five hours a day. It's mandatory. |
But they are touching grass on the field. |
| Our club has lots of kids from DC, MoCo, and private schools so spring break is all over the place. Practice schedule remaining as is and if you are away, you don't attend. |
