If you are on a travel team, can you share if your team is practicing over spring break?
We have two kids in two different clubs and one club is practicing and the other is not. I am wondering what it the norm? Can you share gender/club if you feel comfortable. Thanks |

Pooled training-- instead of birth year or color, combined for those in that window of the permits.
Older kids-- currently yes but I see all the nos on team snap and feel like coach will pull down the training |
| Younger player and no practices until after break ends. Most of the kids are doing soccer camps over break, though. |

My kids are different clubs.
Girls Club - practice 2x a week and no breaks, but did have a week between winter and spring. Boys Club - practice 3x a week and week off during spring break. They didn't take a break between winter practices and spring practices. |
Which clubs are these and what age group? also, are they ECNL or pre-ECNL or MLS next? Vienna is not practicing over spring break across ALL age groups. |
| Our club is leaving it up to the teams and some ages are combining all of the teams in an age group since many kids and coaches are away for break. |
How about VDA, NVA, McLean, Alexandria, SYC, Arlington, etc…? |
|
girls and no practice during break for one child and the other team does have practice.
Non ECNL teams |
are you putting together a spreadsheet? Who gives a crap |
| Rec league and school team. Neither are practicing spring break week. |
It’s called gathering information and making a conclusion of which clubs do a little more over spring break. No need to hate. |
| State cup teams - practicing, the rest of the week off |
| ASA MLS Next is practicing. Kids on our team have all different spring breaks. |
Vda has practice. |
| ECRL girls team- 3 practices for those in town. Combined with another age group |
