What was the style of play?

Also curious what makes west players/teams so dominant? Is it style of play or athleticism or both?

Also, are they going to their old ODP format or has it been running like that all along (region vs region) into a national selection?

We lose world cups because nobody cares about soccer here, can't tell me otherwise even though I personally enjoy the game. Just look at how empty the men's game was last night in Dallas.

Go back and watch the final woman's world cup game. The inferior team just played a passing game with all the players working together to make it to full time and then they lost on penalties. The US team is a bunchof standout players who do t know how to play as a team.
They were all competing against each other to get the highest number of goals. Watch most ECNL teams and it's the same formula.

The US team keeps making the same recruiting mistakes with their players. This is led by the club coaches who refer the players. People would enjoy soccer more if they actually played soccer and not kickball. .

Nobody cares about mediocre soccer here, and this nations league event is mediocre at best. FIFA is about to have two world cups here back to back mens 2026 with Mex and Can (Confirmed) and womens 2027 (not Confirmed). This isn't just becuase of the infrastructure of the US to host huge events like this its because there are millions of soccer fans here, and of course people from the across the globe will travel here too. My point is Soccer is very healthy in this country, just mismanaged by the federation. If they cut those ticket prices in half, and then dumped the remaining seats to local youth clubs for free it would be full every game.

What does healthy mean? That there's a huge industry for youth soccer that no parent cares about the status of the national team? Maybe boys are different, but most girl parents just care about college and college play is not international play.

College soccer is below medicore, don't care.

Cutting prices and free tickets is the opposite of very healthy. Soccer in the US is a niche sport. They should play smaller stadiums. It will always have millions of players and watchers but that’s not a lot in a country with 400M people and it’s not going to be mainstream

NVA??? really. Maybe it is about who you know and money? Literlaly can't think of one person on that team who I would guess could be the one selected for this. The other four are excellent players, congrats!
