| MCPS probably settled with the teacher since there was email proof. |
That's fine. Can you engage with the merits of this specific story though? |
I have read those lawsuits they will be dismissed. They are garbage same as the ones on the Opt out. These are not intelligent people and they find shit lawyers. All of these lawsuits are on line and can be accessed easily. And it is extremely easy to read them it you have even half a brain. |
Daily wire is credible and not on the far right you can see the chart here https://adfontesmedia.com/interactive-media-bias-chart/ Bias: Strong Right Reliability: Generally Reliable/Analysis OR Other Issues |
I think it’s important to read various news sources, and then make up your opinions based on what you read rather than discount a source in its entirety from the start. Take it with a grain of salt, but be open to what you read. I read this article, with that grain of salt, but it was good information. |
It's to the right of Fox News on that chart so NOT CREDIBLE. |
Yes, reading several CREDIBLE news sources is a good idea. |
| When it’s a teacher versus a principal, the teacher never stands a chance. The system goes into overdrive to protect the principal and the system. I think that’s become plain at this point. I feel bad for the teacher, who is a credible person with a credible complaint, regardless of which media outlet reports on it. |
The teachers were clearly unfairly punished, at a time when sentiment was running high against Hamas, and Israel had just begun to destroy Gaza. I am sure MCPS admin would not react that way today, when it's clear Israel has lost the support of most of its friends in its overreach. More than 30,000 civilians killed in Gaza compared to less than 2000 Israelis killed on Oct 7th. I don't think the lawsuits were meant to be won - they were meant to leverage some compensation from MCPS. I hope these teachers will get something. Just like I hope this teacher will get something. Antisemitism is NEVER OK. Jews around the world are victims of Netanyahu's tragic policies in Gaza. |
| I work for MCPS and refuse to participate in any racial discussions no matter how much they tell us it's a "safe space". I refuse to fill out any of their surveys as well. I don't speak out in staff meetings and I don't share too much info in general. I don't trust them. |
Netanyu is a decades-long war criminal. It's not a tragedy, it's pure evil. |
Political bias is independent of credibility. In court two lawyers are diametrically opposed in their biased, but are still both held to a standard of credibility. Having a bias for what new stories they choose to report says nothing about their credibility. Just as your bias against hearing facts you don't like doesn't make your true statements non-credible. |
|
I’m skeptical.
A lot of extremists like to conflate Israeli foreign policy and Jewish identity. It’s not antisemitism for a student or teacher to condemn another country’s war crimes. Pretending that protesting against Israeli foreign policy is synonymous with antisemitism does a disservice to Jews everywhere and it minimizes real acts of antisemitism. |
It has no merit. It isn't a credible news source. |
Fox News isn't news. It's an opinion show that twists facts to push their agenda. Pretending this is news or journalism is a mistake. |
