How about ending every sentence with either "yo", or "dog"? A piquant substitute for "man", or "dude".

So instead of the tired "How's your hot-dog, dude?"

Now try "How's your hot-dog, yo?"

So 21st century.

And my favorite word, which I think I learned via AWAD: petrichor (PET-rick-kor, roughly). The smell the earth makes when it rains after a dry spell. The etymology is something like "stone blood" -- how cool is that?
