Maybe at a couple of boys age groups this would make sense for Arlington to take a few boys. But the current 07 and 09 Arlington teams are top three in their conferences; Union's teams in 07 and 09 are both in 10th place. No one is going to be picked up at those age groups.
Plus if you make a move as a group, the boys that don't have the skill will just ride the bench or play on the RL teams. |
You get one big clique. You can see it already in the way they interact. It really is piss poor for team dynamics--this brining over one large group with you to another club. As others said, when they come as a group --it's usually 90% sh*t. |
It doesn't have to make sense. If they want a coach or TD from a different club--that guy will say 'okay--but I get to bring 6, 8 whatever of my players with me'. The coach picks the team. They call the shots. |
| I respected the way Arlington has done things on the boys ECNL side. If this is true, it goes against the way they used to operate their ECNL teams. |
| BS post just to stir the pot. |
| Why are people taking this as serious? I read it as an obvious joke. Relax, people. |

JW, was at the Arlington ID sessions last week. Smart move by Arlington JW and AP are good coaches. |
| GP is a used cars salesman |

Who is GP?
|
There weren't any boy sessions last week. They were both this week. Monday and Thursday. |
| This is so not true. GP has no say over boys ecnl. OF calls all the shots. |
| JW and AP to Futstars |
They already grabbed the best players from McLean/Vienna on some of their teams. |
"Best" is relative. And many are playing them. Forced their hand. |
