Taking a step back from work for one's mental health

Perimenopause made me crazy. I only realized what it was years later reading about it in the paper. Wild mood swings, bouncing off the wall anxiety, depression. See a doctor who deals with "menopause issues" Should have had hormone patch.

You should get your thyroid checked and hopefully you know that Perimenopause can cause severe anxiety. I was on the verge of quitting 4 years ago because I could barely get out of bed. Medication + some changes to my habits changed everything. I’m glad I didn’t quit.

I’m a single parent who can afford to, but was killing myself and making myself have panic attacks working for money I didn’t meed. The more I make the more my exH took from me. So- I chose me. Can you stick it out at your current job until you find a new position with benefits?

What does your DH suggest that you do?

GET YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKED.
Like, immediately.
Feeling that stressed may well have you on a path for a stroke and you won’t have any symptoms.
Good luck!!
