So you would feel comfortable as what’s in the ocean just the same as the guys hands on you.
I’m more comfortable with what’s on the guys hands. There is sewage and radioactive waste in the ocean!
Oh and it must be mentioned that when it’s fished from the ocean the giant nets drop it onto the floor of the vessel where the boatmen walk around with dirty shoes. Then it goes into a storage hull that was only spritzed out with a hose after the last use, so the bacteria must be at an all time high. And who knows how many seagulls have pooped in there trying to get after the fish. My guess is that when they were at port the fishermen’s dog came with his poopy paws to chase off the seagulls. Then when the fish finally makes it off the boat it goes in a dirty truck to a distribution center, where all the guys just use their unloved hands. They probably hose it off again before it makes it to the fish monger, so you cannot see the dirt. . . but rest assured it’s still in need of a wash before you eat it. So the fish mongers hands? not a concern.
