I'm getting frustrated by how many matches for both women and men are on the West Coast and start so late. It doesn't help grow the game having so many games begin after people's normal bedtimes.

Also, there has to be a problem with the drainage on that field, right? Conditions were miserable during the NWSL playoffs and again last night.

I agree, it's hard to get my DD interested in watching high level soccer when all the game times are so late, including the late games for DC united (thanks apple TV). Honestly, why couldn't they start the game at 4:15pm on the west coast? Baseball does it all the time.... it couldn't make the attendance any worse than it was.

PP here, and I totally agree about the crowds. I had heard that they started late to have bigger crowds, but that did not seem to be the case for any of the games. The stadium was hardly packed.

Do you watch the Women's Super League? Maybe your DD would enjoy those games (assuming you have Paramount Plus). Most of those games are on weekends in the morning, but some are in the afternoon, and you can always watch match replays.

That field was like one step up from Muldoon's!
