Fresh passion fruit in dmv grocery stores

I have a friend who grows it in DC, but you have to be careful or it can take over the yard.

They are also uniformly awful. I haven't had a good one in years. I don't buy them any more and my pavlovas are sad.

I can find it seasonally at the Giant on P street, the Harris Teeter in NOMA, and the Whole Foods on H, but it’s been gone all winter. I also have a potted passion fruit I move inside in the winter and it’s pretty happy, but it’s huge. I believe there are some variants that will grow in our zone though!
