| I adore passion fruit. Has anyone ever seen it for sale in a dmv grocery store? I’d happily drive to buy some. TIA! |
| Wegmans Kingstowne has it in the summer or an international grocery store like fresh world has the pulp frozen and fresh. |
| Tysons Whole Foods has it quite a bit. |
| Order it from Rincon Tropics. The best. |
| Where are you located? I frequently got them (for like $4 a piece) at the Giant in Columbia Heights but haven’t been there in a few years. I think I saw them at the Harris Teeter in downtown Bethesda last year. |
| Op. I’m in dc proper. Thanks for all these suggestions! |
+1 All their fruit is delicious. |
| This makes me cry. I’m Australian and consider passionfruit practically a staple. I’d usually expect to pay about 20c each, maybe less. Given the tropical climate in the south, I find it odd that there isn’t a lot more passionfruit available. |
Op. I know. I travel a lot to east Africa and just gorge myself at the hotel buffets on passion fruit! |
| Navy yard Whole Foods, but they’re $4-$6 each! |
| I’ve gotten it at MOMs multiple times, it’s one of my favorite fruits! |
| Could we grow it here? In a greenhouse? |
Also endorsing this! |
| Harris teeter, wegmans and Balduccis in Alexandria all have it |
