There is conversation about doing that in our neighborhood and I am not sure its what we should do based on reports I have heard, but I've never been close to anyone playing either.

We have one where our summer house is - it's a combined tennis/pickle court so just 2 pickle courts. It's been fine so far, with limited hours (I think it's 9-7 in summer) and it's a small neighborhood so usually it's used maybe 3-4 times a day. I think the bigger complaints come from the mega pickle courts that are in constant use on multiple courts.

Pickleball is about as athletic as golf. Possibly less.

It's less. Literally played by senior citizens. It's so easy that lazy young people started playing it.
