I assume they meant they got it at an open house or something. I cannot imagine that Burke is sending chip clips in the mail.

I'm not sure why, maybe it's my anxiety for Friday, but this is funny!! A chip clip. LOL

Maybe on Friday they will send the bag of chips. "You're all that and..."

NCRC sent the most adorable welcome package.

Norwood called in 2023 and also sent a welcome packet. Much more swag given later at the accepted families events

I never got a call from a GDS parent when my DC was accepted (pre-COVID)

I have also heard of SAES giving swag on admissions day - I believe balloons were included - can't remember if anything else. It's been several years and our child hadn't applied there.

We got a chip clip with some other Burke swag two years ago. Still have it and have to say it’s a really good sturdy chip clip! Kid is also having an excellent educational experience at Burke.

That’s cute. Does gds send crickets from the snake food section of the pet store?

It may vary by grade level?
We got a call for two DCs, one before and one after covid, but only after 4 p.m. on Friday. I think they may have both been over the weekend.

SAES sends a swag box and follows up a few days later with balloons.

Did anybody get a notification for delivery or did it come after the acceptance notification?

Holton calls on the day of, but its not the head of school, it's the admissions person who calls.

I think last time, we got the call mid-afternoon(ish)?
